On Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., Cornell Fine Arts Museum is hosting a Cultural Property Panel Discussion in connection with the upcoming exhibition Contested Object: Ninomiya Kinjiro and Rollins College's Cultural Property Controversy.
Please join President Emerita Dr. Rita Bornstein, Dr. Margaret McLaren (Philosophy), Dr. Robert Vander Poppen (Art History and Classical Studies), and Dr. Jonathan R. Walz (Anthropology), for a provocative discussion of issues affecting this and related cultural property controversies. The discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Susan Libby (Art History) and Cory Baden (Anthropology, 2012).
