Wonders of the Sea, an installation of 98 mixed media works on paper, included deliberate references to eighteenth century “curiosity” collections like that of pharmaceutical scientist Albertus Seba, prompting the viewer to ponder our past and present relationships with the sea.

This work, exhibited as part of the L.A. Design Center’s group show  Stream, was on display as a solo exhibition at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum in 2007, and at Vanderbilt’s Sarratt Gallery. In fall of 2009, Rachel's work was part of a solo exhibit at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center, Dunedin, Florida.
