Grad Year: 2012

Theatre Emphasis: Performance

Why did you choose Rollins?

I was a dance major for 2 years at the Boston Conservatory and transferred to Rollins College to follow a dream. I’ve been extremely involved in dance and I didn’t want to let go of being given the opportunity to gain knowledge in acting.

When did you first become interested in the theatre?

For as long as I can remember.

On an emotional or intellectual level, what will you take with you when you graduate?

Emotionally, I will take all of the memories from bonding with friends from the theater, music and dance department on and off of the stages.

I take my college career seriously, and everything that I have learned from performing, choreographing, and directing, has helped me to better myself as a differentiated and versatile artist, which is what I want to be.

I couldn’t thank the professors from the theater, dance and music departments enough in trusting and having faith in me. I have been given more than I deserve and I am outrageously happy to be able to work with such honorable professors and artists.

Transferring from a Conservatory to a Liberal Arts College helped me to discover what I want to do after I graduate and how to achieve my goals.

What are you currently working on within the department?  (this could be a class project, a production, an audition piece, etc...)

Rehearsal director for Little Shop of Horrors, choreographing and performing for Attitudes Dance Concert.

What outside activities are you involved with? (campus clubs, work studies, etc...)

Executive member and student teacher of Rollins Dancers and volunteer with the Office of Community Service and Engagemen.

Anything else about YOU you want to include?

Honestly, thank you everyone for everything!
