We know that with family, work, and various other obligations, attending spontaneous events can prove challenging. Unlike the Rollins campus, the real world doesn’t close down when a fox is placed on the lawn. While we may not understand why everyone doesn’t get behind this tradition (who doesn’t love a day off?), we’re trying to still make the festivities available for you, our beloved alumni. In the spirit of trying to spread the Rollins tradition off campus, this year’s Fox Day is scheduled for Thursday, April 24. (Come on, admit you’ve always wanted to know the day before everyone else.)

Still not willing to buy into the rigmarole of the real world and cringe about giving up on the fantastic spontaneity of Fox Day? No need to worry! Now you can have two great reasons to celebrate Fox Day. (We’re all about as many holidays as possible.) We’ll still be sending out an email with the musical phrase: “It’s Fox Day!” And, for those of you who aren’t apt to checking your email first thing in the morning, we’ll also be sending out text messages. To sign up for this service, go to http://escores.stretchinternet.com/login.php, create a login, fill in your information, and check the “FOX DAY” box. You can sign up for athletic updates while you’re at it. If you sign up for Fox Day announcements, you won’t be inundated with messages. We promise it will just be the one! And who doesn’t want to receive an excuse to celebrate?
