Hello Everyone!

My name is Jeff Shea, and I am an Admission Counselor at Rollins College. I am originally from Manchester, Massachusetts, about 20 miles north of Boston. I came to Rollins in 2003 to start my undergraduate studies. I ended up majoring in Spanish, and minoring in International Business. I am in love with traveling, and thus took advantage of the Rollins study abroad program three times! I studied for a semester in Sydney, Australia, another in Oviedo, Spain, and participated in a 6-week summer program in Madrid, Spain. Studying abroad is certainly one of my favorite parts about the Rollins experience!

When I graduated from Rollins in 2007, I packed up my car and U-Haul and drove 1,311 miles north to be back home, and spent the summer there; but little did I know when I was moving home, that I would be moving right back to Winter Park (less than a mile from campus!) at the end of the summer to take a position as the Events and Operations Coordinator at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando. After almost a year, a position opened up in the Office of Admission at Rollins, and the rest is history! I can say with ease that I love my job--informing others about what an awesome school this is, and all of the opportunities that await you!
