Guten Tag! I am an Assistant Director of Admission here at Rollins. I was born in Weiden, Germany, but lived in many places including California, Colorado, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, and throughout Germany. I loved growing up in a military family and the places it allowed me to see across the country and around the world. After graduating from General H.H. Arnold High School in Wiesbaden, Germany in 2003, I knew I was ready to return to the States and find my “home.”
Rollins was the first school I officially toured and I loved it right away. I could see myself walking around campus, studying in the library, and eating in the cafeteria. I was most impressed by the classrooms and the idea of sitting around a conference table with the other students, and even the professors.
During my time at Rollins I was a DJ at the campus radio station, wrote scripts for a weekly radio show, held puppet shows in German for local elementary school students, met world-famous musicians, and spent a week exploring New York City (for the first time!). I graduated from Rollins in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. As an avid saxophonist and singer, I performed in numerous musical ensembles at Rollins, in addition to singing in the First Congregational Church choir here in Winter Park.
I loved being a Rollins student and enjoy sharing my stories with students who are interested in becoming Rollins students themselves.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or just want to talk about Rollins (or even if you just want to say hi!).
