The Rollins College Oral History Collection is home to several interviews conducted by a team of students, with faculty advisors Wenxian Zhang, professor and head of archives and special collections at Olin Library and Professor Emeritus of History Jack C. Hamilton Holt, Rollins’ eighth president, coined the term "golden personalities" to refer to the "men and women of learning whose sole love was teaching, who enjoyed associating with young people, individuals with noble characters." Faculty leaders Wenxian Zhang and Assistant Professor of History Julian Chambliss were joined by a team of students as they worked to compile profiles and histories of the Golden Personalities of Rollins College and Winter Park.
